YouTube is search plus habit. A channel grows when every video names a problem, proves you can fix it, and invites the next click. Gear is secondary.
Before the first upload
Pick a viewer and a job. Write ten titles that person would search. If you cannot, you do not have a channel yet.
Packaging
Title and thumbnail must agree. The first 20 seconds must pay the title. Intros about your company name waste the only window the algorithm gives you.
Cadence
A schedule you can keep beats a burst. End with one next video, not a list of links. Watch retention, not vanity subs.
